Re: mysqlcc? What repo has this?

(The reason it isn't in the repos is that it is superseded by mysql-query-browser)

Poll: Re: Adding forums link to Ubuntu Main Page

I agree. Until the forums are run by Canonical and its selected representatives, instead of a volunteer community, the sublink is completely adequate. The Fridge, Malone, Planet, and the rest are all...

As I said before, if you want gtkpod 0.99, you have to have libgpod >= 0.3.

Re: Making a local repository ?

    Hi,

See this wikipage I wrote for the official wiki.

    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LocalAptGetRepositoriesTrivial

It's intended for developers, but will work for a personal repository too. Just...

    Re: Trying to install K9Copy

k9copy isn't in an official repository, which means it comes from some other Debian repository. This is NOT recommended and you shouldn't use unofficial repositories. If you need k9copy that badly,...

    Re: Gtkpod .99.2

I just uploaded 0.99.2-0ubuntu1 to Dapper last night. This one is a bit trickier because it introduces libgpod0 and libgpod-dev, which are needed to run and build the thing. But they're not in...

Re: Seveas' your repos are down

I really doubt this needs to be posted here; if anything a PM would suffice.
  13. Re: Suggestion: change in distro flavor choice in profiles

While we're making requests, could we make it:
    Ubuntu Dapper 6.04 TESTING
    Kubuntu Dapper 6.04 TESTING
This would make it look just like the other older ones, but add a TESTING to let people know :)

    Re: Signature sometimes missing

No, it's not turned off. That's the Quick Reply, which isn't smart enough to figure out that the mod is installed.

Refresh and you'll see the sig go away.

    Re: Signature sometimes missing

The fact remains, though, that usually the sig isn't what makes the post stretch... it's all that info to the left. Look at your post. Look at all the unused space below the signature. It would not...

    Re: Signature sometimes missing

They installed a mod that only shows your sig once per page. Pretty useless imo since images aren't allowed anyways, thus you're only saving 2-3KB per page and almost no screen space.

Oh, I know, I just happened to stop in at the right time :) and those packages were very easy to backport, so no big deal ;)
