I have realised this as well. I am not quite sure why it does this but I remember when I last tried to unintall it and my computer would not start up. I thinks its best to leave evolution-data alone....

i cant, everytime i go into the gui version of synaptic it comes up with that message and the only button is close, no ok so i cant do anything with it. i cant install stuff with terminal or update....
