I guess its a bit late to reply but if ur still haven't found an answer u can use Winff to convert these videos to the format Bravia uses, there is an option in output formats to convert for Bravia...

well i managed to solve the issue by deleting the .gtkrc-2.0 file in my home directory. seems like it was activating the gnome color chooser, which made all my themes look bad!

i am not a conky user but i used rainmeter back when i was on xp, on ubuntu screenlets did quite a fine job until i came across this:

well you need to tell the filesystem on those partitions, if they are ntfs, try the 'ntfs confguration tool'.

well actually when the laptop froze at 59 degrees it was because of5 i8kutils. i know this because whenever i tried to i8kmon or i8kfan, the laptop immediately...
