Nope. That setting is only installing x11vnc server. You have to manually start x11vnc after logging in.

Do you use 127.0.0.1 as the backend IP-adress?

Problem solved. One problem was that the raid-array was to slow when writing. I swapped first to a SSD and now to a singe hard drive (not raid) and that solved a part of the problem.
