Yes I am running CM9 on touchpad. it is very simle to do. just go to www.rootzwiki.com and find a tutorial there.It runs great, but drains battery faster than webos a bit.

I have experimentally installed 12.04 beta 1 and tried installing mplayer following the guide.

Everything seems to work up to mplayer compilation which fails with error:
