Killed amsn with htop

Started amsn again. An icon has now appeared in the system tray.

Problem solved

I solved the problem.

The problem:

I was able to login through ftp as the first system user I created at install.

I was not able to login through ftp as the two new system users I created...

Same darned problem here.

All my users are system users. The do not have sudo rights

I have successfully setup Ubuntu Server, to act as a SAMBA file server with multiple users.

I have now installed vsftpd with the intention of giving the users access to their home directories...

Embedded midi would not work for me on firefox, even after installing mozplugger and mozplugger extras.

Solution:

Close Firefox

Open a terminal and type

sudo gedit /etc/mozpluggerrc

On my server I had the same error message of server respawning too quickly and status 1, and the server dying.

So I tried starting it by typing sudo vsftpd and got a message telling me that there...

Are you downloading it directly to your PC with the idea of installign it on your pc and not a remote machine? Which browser are you using?

I had the same problem and was racking my brains. I have found the problem to be related to the sync key.

Solution:
In firefox click on tools-> Addons
Select firefox sync and click preferences...

I too am having issues on Ubuntu 10.10. Am afraid I do know how to solve your problen
