    ..... assuming you've installed sqlite3.

    Turn the volume down in Exaile itself, and turn it up on the hardware. This should take care of the problem.

    Sounds like you've got a seriously messed up sources.list. This is what happens when you put non-official repos in there.

    Definitely sounds like your sources.list is jacked up (or it used to be), or you had some non-official repos in there at some point.

    iPod support is built in to 0.2.8, you don't need a plugin. If you don't see an iPod tab on the left, then you need to install the python-gpod package.

    You'll have to wipe out your database and rescan. The schema has changed a lot... there will be a converter, but not until I think the schema won't change anymore.

    You might try the SVN version for the tags. As far as playback, do you have the gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg package installed?
