You totally just hit on what "Linux as a hobby" means to me, and why it's my hobby :D
Even better.. the terminal lets YOU be the mechanic, and as the mechanic, the terminal is the diagnostic computer readout you hook into the car to give you the exact breakdown of what's going on in...
I used to use it but then stopped. I realized that just walking through installing any one think Automatix installed was enough to ensure that I didn't need Automatix for the same task later on as I...
I can understand GnuChess taking 100% of the CPU to think, but it must be thinking long and hard because even when it's not doing anything (when it's my turn), it's still eating 100%.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Or is this not possible and I have to still work within the framework of opening per-port access even to private IP ranges for home networks?
Quick question... how do I allow a range of local IP's to connect to me? (192.168.1.*) ??
I was looking for something pre-made that had 2 - 4 ports going to one USB port
Kind of like http://www.consoleplus.co.uk/images/cp_pc_dragondual_l.jpg but one that definately works with Linux
Can anyone give me advice (and especially a link) to a [preferably] 4-port XBOX or PlayStation2 GamePad to PC USB adapter?
I have one from LikSang (JoyPad 5 Adapter) but it is not compatible with...
