    I don't think I have a separate boot partition.
    Gparted shows only a / and /Home mountpoint, if that is sufficient to tell.

    But now that i finally made the file with the "EnableLinuxHWVideoDecode=1" line and rebooted, i still have smurfs..

    I don't have the adobe folder or the mms.cfg file
    Also i am not sure how i should create this from scratch, because apparently i can't create folders inside /etc

    This is quite annoying..seems like i am stuck with the smurfs until a real fix surfaces.

    Same here also after the recent update. Had a similar problem before with normal videos, but i managed to correct that using the Tint (Hue) slider on Totem player.
    I have no idea how to correct this...

    Morbius1's solution worked for me and was exactly what i was looking for, still would be nice i guess if such a thing could be done from the systemsettings menu.

    Amazing how this bug showed up for me in 11.10, i checked Totem hue was in the middle.
    Turning it all the way down or maxing it out, made everyone look normal again.
    Somehow this setting even made...

    I rebooted after turning them both off, but it didn't change it.
    When i press the Home folder on the Unity bar and then click on the devices listed it gives me access straight away.

    I don't know who the man on your avatar is, but you could've fooled me on the philosopher aspect with it :p

    Anyway since i am not really used to editing files i prefer the easiest solution.
