    This time I figured it out because it's so easy. Just right click the link, select the "open with" option, type in "evince"...

    I use BasKet in the normal gnome ubuntu environment and it is very stable and quite useful for organizing notes and lots of other things. I MUCH prefer it to Tomboy.

    The only thing bugging me atm...

    I like Firefox. There is a benefit to Ubuntu and the entire community for having the premier web browser prominently associated with it as the default browser.

    New Dell Studio 1535 with pre-loaded Ubuntu 8.04 works perfectly ootb after one day testing.

    I still use Windows for 3D CAD (Alibre) and some embedded AVR programming but otherwise it's all Ubuntu.

    I've been testing a new install using Automatix2 and it's all working perfectly. The 32b browser is Swiftfox. Highly recommended!
