    I know only the function "atoi". That converts a Ascii-String to a integer value:

    char *string = "1203"
    int var1 = atoi(string) ;

    var1 is now 1203.

    Try this:

    List = ["0", "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6", "7", "8", "9"]

    A value like 0 is not the self like ascii character "0"
