Odd question: did you watch top for a few minutes, sometimes it doesn't immediately organize itself.
If the CPU is being used it should be able to see it on top
Hi!
I haven't plugged straight in yet, I figured since Kubuntu 11.10 was coming soon, I should be able to try it then.
So I reformated, got internet to the phone again and still the same...
Hi! I want to install kate-plugins for the ability to use tabs (like at the top where you go back and forth with documents) in 11.10, but I cannot find the package.
It used to be kate-plugins,...
I'll plug it straight in again tonight and re run that test.
The only person that has access to the pbx is me, so no changes that I know of.
The way this worked before was with Windows 7,...
I cannot find an option to turn that off, however, how would that work if it works plugged in? Wouldn't the same protocol have to be accepted then??
It is still not registering, even with the ability to accept pings on. And it still gives that 501 error.
Well it will respond to pings with iptables off so I'm going to see if it registers then.
This is correct. I am using freepbx on asterisk. Nerd Vittles Incredible PBX, actually it is 1.4. Had it for a while.
This is a correct thing. That is one of my friends, who has a phone that pulls...

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about at this point. The whole thing is what I posted, from when I clicked (or had someone else click) the register button to when it said...
Oh and to clear up the confusion, the wireless Ubuntu computer is 192.168.1.191 and the ip address assigned to the phone is 10.x.x.x (nothing else uses that ip range.) 192.168.1.194 is the PBX

OK, I'm doing this remotely right now. Earlier when I sent those two things I got back that was done with registering the phone at that point.
Otherwise I'll have to do it when I get home, fills...
@jonobr
Can you tell me how to do it? I would be more than happy to try anything!
@jonobr
Yes I am sure, plugged into the switch or the router and it works fine, and the internet works on the phone. So I'm sure that the phone itself is setup right AND that it's authentication is...

I'm sending it to you privately. I do not know how to open it, so I do not know what is in it.
Oh, and I've been trying to be careful not to give out the public IP...mighta missed one, but I'm trying.
Yes, it's in my house. I ran as root:

I guess I'm not sure what NAT settings you are referring to, sorry. The phone gets internet, it has a web browser so i know that.
The outside address did not work. I know that is active because I...
I haven't tried a public IP. Let me try that! I'm sure frustrated. I'm not sure how to setup the NAT for this.
Thanks.
PS I have to do it when I get home, sorry.
