You don't need them. If you have tahoma.ttf from msttcorefonts (or windows, or any of the free font websites) you can copy that to sserife.fon/fot and vgasys.fon/fot and it will work. In fact, I...

Is that...good? :-P
All right, you'll need the following (might be incomplete, who knows what -dev files I've got on here):
python-all-dev
python-psyco - in the repo
glewpy - http://glewpy.sourceforge.net/ requires...
To be honest, I'm not at all sure what version it is. As for the howto, yes I think I'll have to. So far I've not been able to compile any version that works cross-system, though I've been idly...
FretsOnFire - RFMOD 4 (with PS2 guitar controller!)
Guild Wars
Nethack
Nexuiz
...pretty much the same as the last time this thread went around. Except for the new rfmod, that is.
Whoop! All done!
Note - i686 only for the moment. This is a 64-bit box, but I don't have any 64-bit linux installations currently. So...someone else do it.
Download - Feisty
Download -...
Unfortunately I just tried to run it in my ubuntu install and it fails, apparently because feisty's openssl is an older version. EDIT: I'm very frustrated now :(
Download link back up. Can...
Here you go: Links below
This is a fully playable release! Just extract the archive and run FretsOnFire. If you put this in your old fretsonfire mod directory it will blink at you innocently.

VICTORY! Thanks for that link! There were other problems, but that got me into the game at least, and the rest were pretty easy.
It runs! There are flames and all sorts of goodies!
It's slow...
Thanks! I'll take a look.
I'm on Arch atm, and cx_freeze is in our repos. Keep in mind that you only have to install it, and then edit the amanith makefile to point to "FreezePython". Otherwise...
Ugh. This is the very worst program to try to compile, ever.
So far I've got Amanith and PyAminith compiled, and the program finally builds. However, I'm getting this error:
Traceback (most...
Holy crap I didn't even notice! I'll take a look at it this evening and see if I can compile it from syberdave's pyaminith source, etc. If not I'll just bother him ;)
Wow I can't waaaiiiit
Hmm. Odd thing about wine is that it doesn't seem to understand "fullscreen," at least when using xfwm4 as your window manager. When I'm running wine apps fullscreen I can alt-tab, or better yet...
Sigh. Someone really needs to sticky the GW launch command, or at least force people to read that "How I got Guild Wars Working" thread. Even if this works...read it anyway.

Neverwinter Nights?
I haven't seen that one before, unfortunately. I suggest filing a bug report on their official forums. There are instructions here.
Well, it's not supposed to do anything; that is, if you aren't root. That might mean your nice program has the suid bit set, or it might mean you're running your script as root.
Both are bad.
...
Hmm. Try reinstalling Cg-toolkit?
nice -20 wine
:-?
Oops, wine thread runs away. Reboot.
-10 or better yet, -5 is tons safer. Plus this will only really help if you have other things taking cpu time. If you do, maybe it...
It's harmless, but if you don't like looking at it, start your program like this:
env WINEDEBUG=-all wine blah blah blah
or in a script,
export WINEDEBUG=-all
wine blah
Should speed up...
"Other Games" is just the gnome stuff ;)
Edit: augh...didn't even notice this was a dredged thread. Might as well be part of the problem, I guess :P
Since I upgraded to 2.3 and started using the GLX executable rather than the SDL one, I've not dropped below 200 fps regardless of the action. I have a few effects turned off, but not 180 fps worth,...
AUGH! Evil dredged thread!
But since you asked:
1) No. Not even close.
2) Yes, absolutely. Cedega is specifically built to run totally independently of wine. They will not butt-heads.
...
Hmmm...first post in the thread?
At the moment, guildwars starts and runs fine (more than fine, it plays quite well in fact) for me with the -dsound, -dx8, and -noshaders command line arguments. YMMV.
