I think i ... well we at irc channel, might have found the problem. We purged all wacom related stuff from synaptic, and emptied the .deb thingie. And reisntalled it all. As we noticed te xsetwacom...
Yyeah i noticed it before i made the modification. Still no go.
Well now it changed completely how it works.
xsetwacom list dev gives nothing. Also when i move the pen nothing happens, unless i press it against the pad. then it seems to act as normal mouse.
...
Okay did it, but still getting just 1... Or what was the change supposed to do? (i rebooted just to be sure)
Say what? To where? Huh? *fell of the cart*
I have two monitors next to each other both running at 1680x1050 Now with my math, i cant make them to go over 10000 in any dimension :D Or then i am understanding something really wrong here. :S

Yeah i upgraded with the upgrade... automate,.. thingie. Forgot what it is called.
xorg.conf in /etc/X11 contains no mention of any kind about wacom.
Starting to feel annoying n00b... :S
I havent done any configuration really. I was on the hopes it would work from 9.10 directly, as it almost seemed to do.
The file 10-wacom.conf contains ->
Section "InputClass"
Identifier...
(II) config/udev: Adding input device Wacom Intuos3 6x8 (/dev/input/event6)
(**) Wacom Intuos3 6x8: Applying InputClass "evdev tablet catchall"
(**) Wacom Intuos3 6x8: Applying InputClass "Wacom...
Tried, reinsalled booted, same thing. Returns 1.
Could it be that something from the previous installation (9.10) and all its crappy HAL FDI xorg custom modifications be interfering?
xsetwacom get Wacom\ Intous3\ 6x8\ cursor BottomX
Returns: 1
xsetwacom -v list works. And it lists ->
Wacom Intuos3 6x8 eraser eraser
Wacom Intuos3 6x8 cursor cursor
Wacom Intuos3 6x8 pad pad
And the things suggested here ->...
Wacom Intuos3 6x8 eraser id=8 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Wacom Intuos3 6x8 cursor id=9 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Wacom Intuos3 6x8 pad ...
List: Unknown argument '-v'
:D Fun aint it :D
This
xsetwacom --list -v
Gives me this ->
Unknown command '--list'
Usage: xsetwacom [options] [command [arguments...]]

Ditto, Except i am using TwinView, and upon updating from 9.10 -> 10.04 i lost the setting that mapped the tablet only to one of the monitor. Everything else seems to work fine. I tried playing...
Yes, but you know what. After i copied the new dfi file, it just magicly started working! :D It works now exactly as i want it to :D I dont get it whats going on, but maybe my previous fdi was...
I am using the A5 one (6x9), xorg.conf is now quite empty really. But here it goes ->
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
