Can someone explain to me when i upgrade from gutsy to hardy, do i need to set anything special for pulseaudio to work correctly?
I see it runs automatically (although as root??) and as long as it...
I am using 2.6.24 kernel on gutsy on a powerpc laptop (iBook) and mostly everything is good. There's one small thing I noticed which is quite annoying and I couldn't understand:
this laptop doesn't...
I now get many times at the end an error:
cp: cannot stat `../<debian-x@lists.debian.org>': No such file or directory
Prevu Error: Build failed.
what is that? many packages give me that...
Using prevu in gutsy I keep getting these errors at the end of a backporting:
cp: cannot create regular file `/var/cache/pbuilder/result/libtelepathy_0.2.0-1~7.10prevu1.dsc': Permission denied

# Check...
Toehead: maybe you didn't do prevu-init or something like that? At any rate, I told you to use the dsc files from debian testing because the version in feisty you are trying to backport is the same...
Can you tell me what I should do to use prevu with debian unstable packages ?
Thanks. I would like to try that but I don't really know how, I never build packages in ubuntu/debian before...
Another question, can I use prevu to backport a package from debian unstable/testing instead of feisty (a package that's not yet synced in feisty) ?
Would it be possible to use prevu to backport some mesa packages with newer drivers for my video card ?
Or maybe someone knows of a repository with gnash for ppc ?
I can understand everyone's points, but still there are yet bugs who can easily be considered major, and receive no attention. For example there's a bug that the module for activating the fan on my...
