    Same problem here, blanked it all and started again and it's the same.

    Only effects Firefox, not Chromium-browser and it does it with hardware acceleration disabled

    I have the same problem. Using "intel" driver, no GLX. Everything should be spanking new.
    GLX loads, dri & dri2 load without issues. Perhaps the libraries think they're NVidia?

    On reboot grub2 had no menu, just a prompt. No idea why! Failbeans!
