    kde is beautiful. i run it on my laptop. openbox (which i run on my desktop) isn't out of the box, but with a little tweaking you can make it look pretty nice.

    i had trouble too, i rewrote the script my own way and it worked. also, i'd double check that you're doing the command for kde 4 and not kde 3, i made that mistake :P

    what's not working right? if it's the background, you have to set the wall with feh for conky to have a transparent bg.

    in tint2 you can do it by setting
    taskbar_mode = multi_desktop in the tint2rc

    you know that ~/ means /home/username right? i dont think this is your problem, but i dont know why you would have your rc in /home/orlsend/home/orlsend/.conkyrc, which is what your path refers to.
