Try typing sudo before the command you run. Then enter your password and that should work. Only use sudo when you have to.
Does Linux even have some sort of BSOD? Linux has never crashed on me before which is a good thing.
PC gaming is a lot better than Console gaming. Consider this with a Xbox 360 and PC. You are trying to play a new game made in 2009 to play on a GPU (or console) from 2006. On a PC that can be...
Yes it will
I wouldn't worry about anti virus protection for Linux because nobody makes viruses for Linux. Hackers and/or crackers don't want to make viruses because it would only affect a small group of people...
If you are looking for a BitTorrent client that can be controlled via the web browser I recommend clutch. It works great. There is also TorrentFlux if you don't like clutch.
I think they are sold out because I don't see a add to cart button anymore. I was going to wait maybe 4 months before I got it so hopefully they will have them back by then. Let me know how they are...

If you want your server on VLAN 50 to be access in other VLAN's you need to setup ACL's.
I don't really have that much money for this server. It wouldn't hurt to try it. It is not like software is going to fry my hardware. If it doesn't work then I will use VMware Server.
It looks like they don't have my server. I guess since it is a barebone server I want to get. Well here is what I want to get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816110030 with this...
I will be using a LSI MegaRAID controller.
Will the ESXi work with a Server with 2 500Gb hard drives in RAID 1? I guess I will go with ESXi instead of ESX. I am also looking into Citrix XenServer and Xen. Although I am not sure how you mange...
Okay I will have to try that as soon as I get my server. Thanks for your help. I will try the ESXi first before I try the VMware Server.
