Re: How to fill and save a pdf form

No problem. I don't know what they did with the package in 9.10, but it works great in 9.04. I'm guessing the bugs will be fixed in the next Ubuntu distribution.

How to fill and save a pdf form

Did a little research on how to fill and save a pdf form. Unfortunately, I don't have Ubuntu 9.10 working 100% due to some erroneous data being given by dump_data_fields from pdftk.

    Alright, let's...

I couldn't find an obvious way to download the junk mail folder in evolution. However, if you really want the junk, then set your hotmail account preferences to accept most (there isn't one for all)...

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

I'm using Gutsy and it works for me. However, I make it a common practice to set it up using xinetd instead of inetd. Around page 10 or 11 is the configuration that I used for 7.04 and 7.10.

    I use...

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

I can't find any info regarding up-to-date webdav policies. I sent hotmail support an email requesting information on WebDAV access, I'll post the response once I get it. I've had my account since...

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

How old is your account? Microsoft doesn't give WebDAV access to new accounts and you'll normally get a message saying that you need to pay for access. I suspect that new accounts are given WebDAV...

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

I assume that you followed the instructions at the beginning of the thread. What wasn't working that required you to install xinetd?

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

OK, I'm stumped, I don't understand how xinetd would be installed and the command xinetd not be present in /etc/init.d/ . That's part of the installation. Do you have a weird source installing the...

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

    If you

    cd /etc/init.d/
    ls xinetd
And have nothing, then you don't have xinetd installed.

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

I think the suggestions in the previous post are the fix. Remove the -r option and make sure "Leave messages on server" option is enabled on whatever client you're using.

    Re: Moblock (peerguardian linux alternative)

Well, I'm stumped. It looks like moblock is running from your tail output, but there's no pidof or apparent process ID. If you haven't modified anything, try pinging www.riaa.com and running the tail...

I don't think stopping moblock is required because I never did that... though, stopping and applying the command certainly won't hurt anything. Especially after a reboot:)
