IDRAC is operating system independent. I do not think the problem is from ubuntu. Can you try with a different web browser such as chrome, like firefox.

samba user and password should be the same as the windows user and password.Can you check it username and password ?

You should use something made for this, like NFS , CIFS , SMB or NAS etc..
