    Re: fglrx in raring

I updated via the xorg-edgers repo. It has a "Testing use only" watermark. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

    Re: fglrx in raring

Well I found out the issue. Apparently UEFI booting breaks fglrx reading the GPU's BIOS. Probably a broken implementation of it. With my other laptop I couldn't even boot Linux via UEFI to begin...

I can't seem to get fglrx working now. Used to work with an AMD A8-4500M APU (AMD Radeon HD 7640G GPU) around the start of January or so. I now got a laptop with an AMD A10-4600M APU (AMD Radeon HD...

Re: New 3.7.0 kernel is soon here

I haven't had any issues so far, minus the fact that the "linux" package was updated hours before the new 3.7 kernel image appeared for me.

    Re: fglrx in raring

I can't thank you enough for this! Kernel 3.7 was very nice but I wasn't able to get fglrx working with it until I read this. An issue I had been having with my laptop was that I was unable to resume...

Well I would download a daily Live image of RR rather than doing an upgrade of QQ. Not sure if it is related to your issue, but it's definitely the best way to do it.
