1. Check in your /etc/rc2.d folder for "S12dbus".
2. If it is not there, copy "S12dbus" from /etc/rc3.d/ to /etc/rc2.d.

Have you tried to change the boot configuration in bios?
Get "Envy",and find there nvidia drivers to install,maybe its a drivers issue
1.Check if you run any firewall software in the background,check it the sessions.If you find one you should check the firewall reaction to the port connections and play abit with the configuration....
