Snow/sda2, 7/sda4 and Karmic/sda3 working pretty good on MacBook2,1.
When booting rEFIt display the Apple, GRUB2 and GRUB icons.

Would be helpfull to explain the main differences between Grub and Grub2 at the time of Karmic release.
It seems that rEfit doesn't work well with OSX 10.6.
I'm sing triple booting OSX10.6, Windows 7 Ultimate and Karmic 9.10 on MacBook2,1.
I've reinstalled rEfit a couple of times but to show the...
Wouldn't be cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep intel ?
Wicd instead of Network Manager is a good solution.
Can't install xev.
Terminal prompt says it was replaced by x11-utils.

Thanks.
Mine is configured like this:
mabovo@macbook:~$ xprop -root | grep XKB

You need to reformat all disk and reorganize your computer.
It looks messed up. : )

I am struggling with Firefox 3.0.3 on my MacBook2,1 because it displays all the screen and I can't start another application without close it.
There is no way to minimize Firefox.

It didn't work for MacBook2,1. Wicd doesn't list the ath9k driver.
Had to reinstall from 20080806.
Probably solving power management issues in UBUNTU will solve the problem with ath9k driver to strenght the weak signal.
You can use the recovery disc from Apple and reinstall MacOSX again.
I forgot to say with kernel 2.6.26.
Didn't try with 2.6.27 yet on my MacBook2,1
Glad to know some improvements are being done by Canonical.
