    [SOLVED] Re: CK patch set

Hey folks. I'm guessing that the need to compile one's own ck patched kernel was taken care of by me updating my ppa. If that was the root issue, please just ask me for an update. It is a pain...

    [SOLVED] Re: CK patch set

I don't actually know off the top of my head. But any "compile your own ubuntu kernel" guide would do. Just apply the patches right after you get the source code.

    Hey Faffin,
That's cool what you did. Did you mean 11.10? I tried running a 3.x kernel on 11.04, and it didn't really work out.

It has been awhile since I have updated the kernels. I've gotten...

    [SOLVED] Re: CK patch set

I've tracked down the issue. It was on my end. A patch was not applying cleanly, and I failed to notice that. I've since fixed the issue, which will be a part of the -11 upload.

    [SOLVED] Re: CK patch set

Those bug fixes are part of the regular Ubuntu kernel package. My only guess is maybe you are trying to mix together 32bits with 64bits somewhere. The guests and host must line up on that.

    You...

    [SOLVED] Re: CK patch set

I would say give it a try. The bfs is geared towards desktop / low latency stuff, so maybe it would help. Maybe the low latency stuff would help with getting the GPU program the cpu it needs.
