Figured it out. I installed Navi-X with XBMC running as sudo, removed it and reinstalled it as a regular user and now it works great.
I installed xbmc-standalone in Ubuntu 11.04.
Navi-X only works if I start XBMC as sudo but I want XBMC to start as a session with auto-login. Any ideas how to make Navi-X work without starting...
