I guess you're using the Unity interface now. If so, the top panel (I believe?) is not customizable. You could, however, achieve similar interface with now called classic Ubuntu desktop and AWN dock...
I know only one: KeePassX. It's a password manager and has a strong built-in password generator. Might give that a try :)
This one? It is usually located on either '\' or '/' keys or have it's own key or whatever and you can print that symbol while holding shift. It might be shown as two short vertical bars in one line...
I've never really used command line to do such things but I'd like to learn. So, how do I extract all archives that are spread across several directories in one go?
Same here, 5700, no open source drivers available.
No, it is flashing only blue. Might it be slow charging?
so I've been surfing through various ubuntu blogs and remembered plans to implement windicators. That is why window controls were moved to the left side. So... what happened to...

Thanks for reply. Already done that. Tried changing locale in about:config. Nothing. It just changes firefox language, not addons and plugins (noscript, mozilla sync, etc.).

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extrasThat should be it.
I have a rather common problem - no ttys after nvidia driver install. So maybe it is possible to install nvidia drivers from the manufacturer's website using live cd? And if so, how...
Thank you all, learned quite a lot today :)
Hey, I've got a simple question for advanced users - how can I export my own commands in terminal, for example, I want
metacity --replace & to be accessed via
compizoff command. Couldn't find...
I'm not sure but you might have to install
compiz-fusion-plugins-extra package from the repositories.
Ah, thanks, matey :)
