    gave it a try and it says this about framesizes;

    ahhh yeah I'm on 10.04... (not a big fan of the new layout lol)


    I added myself as a user and here is the result to the other command;



    user@ubuntu:~$ dpkg -L libv4l-0 | grep convert...

    Well it looks like its progress... not quite there but progress ;)

    still seems to give the same error but this time "camera monitor" pops up saying the camera /video0 has been turned on which did...
