yeah, i've finally started searching for a solution to this too... long have i wanted to change tty in virtualbox. but the keyboard shortcuts are only recognised by the host os, not the virtual...
this seems to be an issue across many 'nix distros. ... infact, i'm starting to wonder if i ever managed to get it to run outside of 'doze.
i rly miss it, n hope someone has a solution.

in synaptic, changed the respository, ubuntu software, download from : main server... and all's well...

i failed to get sbagen working, havnt tried to get bwgen yet, since i got gnaural working.
i encountered the same issue. vegastrike is actually supposed to be there isnt it? worth a bug report ya think? or are we just expected to go get the latest source?
