The file is yaml format, that need some indentation for the lines. That is you should add some space before via and link lines so it align same as "to" entty.

I got the problem fixed. It was due to /etc/fstab having an entry for non existant disk.

I got it fixed. The problem was with /etc/hosts, i moved this file to my home directory for easy editing and created a symlink. For some reason resolve fail when it is a symlink. This used to work...
