Yeh... I have that problem too(small resolution for games). Let me know if you find a work around. I find these virtual machines aren't that great for running games anyway. 3d directx ones definately...

So if you copy your partition using gparted does that mean two partitions will have exactly the same UUID? How do I get grub to tell them apart?
