Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 64 bit, and a Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Global pci TV Card.
Zapping TV viewer actually works fine but after I close it, I get only the "white noise" type of sound...
I did check...looks like I'm fine now :)

NTP server was already specified in "/etc/ntp.conf", sorry I forgot to mention that before.
The NTP service is running and I've rebooted some 10 minutes ago (thanks for reminding me) and, so far...
OK...
Krytarik, I set the ntp runlevels the way you have them, and I guess we'll have to wait and see now ;)
As for the clock lagging, It looks I was a bit too jumpy on that one, it's fine now...
Thanks Krytarik
Manual update "ntpdate..." after stopping NTP service seems to work, but my clock is already off (late) by about a minute just 10min after the update.
Anyhow, the output from...

Thanks efflandt, you called it out right. It seems that a number of libboost libraries needed to be upgraded/installed/removed. So the problem is solved now :)

I think I had a case like that before too. But this time, the packages have been in this "non-selectable" state for about a week now.
Yes, I tried that :)
Actually, several other packages updater regularly since I noticed these that I can't select (and that won't go away).
I've done online upgrade to 10.10 without any particular problems. After setting up the 3rd part repositories again I now have a list of non-selectable entries in Update manager - please see the...
I know ;) I just think there should be.
No problem :) Keep up the great work.
If I do that, I have, effectively, a gap between the songs set to 0.
I'd like to have a gap between songs and than, if I so choose, set it to 0 or make some other combination of crossfader options.
Hi,
As I said earlier in this thread, I enjoy using guayadeque very much. Great work, Anon :)
Anyway...I'd enjoy it even more if I could turn the crossfader completely off. Can it be done?

"Installing from PPA" rally means "adding a new software repository" to your Ubuntu.
In this case, go here:
https://launchpad.net/~smcgrath23/+archive/smcgrath
and follow the instructions....
Funny...I've commented out the
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=14,devmode=0660 0 0
line and my USB keys work fine within Ubuntu. I just can't mount/use them in VirtualBox (VB 3.1.8 )

I don't have the:

line in my fstab, but I'm still getting the error message (I was getting it in Karmic occasionally but now in Lucid it...
93MB for a media player (just downloading it now)? Thanks, I'd prefer something a little lighter :) I usually use Media Monkey, WMP or just VLC, in that order.
Thanks again. It was great to find out that the feature was (more or less) already there. Another "plus" for the developer.
No problem :) Sadly, I find dark Ubuntu themes not to my liking, to...
Thanks for the explanation regarding my feature request. I think what is already available is good enough. And I can't make myself create yet another account (on sourceforge) that I'll probably never...
Hi,
Great work, great player - light, quick, great looking... :) I installed it from the PPA yesterday and am still thrilled.
I've been using Listen for quite some time, but I think I'll...
FWIW, I have a webcam which is a USB device and a TV Card that is the PCI one. They are both detected as "videoX".
Still, if you're OK with dual booting... ;)
