    Oops sorry! Its a tx2000z. From looking over the Xorg.0.log it looks like it doesn't like all of my input devices and rejects the touchpad. Any thoughts? Its nice to know what's happening though...

    Hmmm... with hp-wmi there is no entry for the touchpad but without it, its there.
