  4. Re: [Boot-Repair] Re-installation of GRUB is not possible

    Moved to Mint.

You have grub in MBR(BIOS) and in efi(UEFI) partition. You must be consistent in how you boot and since Windows is UEFI boot, you need to always boot in UEFI mode. Make sure UEFI is...
  5. Re: Tried fixing HD MBR, messed with the partition accidentally

If the NTFS partition, it keeps a backup of its partition boot sector.
Testdisk can restore from the backup if the backup is valid or build a XP type NTFS new boot sector.

    As described, it...

Re: Can't see m.2 drive in file manager

Just noticed, I posted standard entry for Windows in sda1. Since bios hint is changed to hd1 it may work but you may also need to change the others also.

[SOLVED] Re: Root partition space issue

    Glad you got it resolved.

Do not know much about LibreOffice or languages. But in Firefox it regularly resets me to something other than US English and spelling then is off.
  11. [ubuntu] Re: Windows 7 boot disabled after I boot-repair Ubuntu's boot

Not sure why grub2's os-prober is not seeing Windows.
Is Windows hibernated, but normally there would be messgae on access?

Try this but it should be the same as Boot-Repair.
    sudo update-grub

[ubuntu] Re: HP G60 Dual Boot problem

If not using Windows best not to use NTFS. It does require chkdsk periodically just as Ubuntu runs fsck every 40 or 60 reboots. And you can only run chkdsk from Windows.
You do have to let chkdsk...
