I set up an ubuntu web server in a VirtualBox. I need to install joomla to this web server, but I don't know of a way to make the server accessible on my host machine. I tried to just use the ip...

I like Jaunty. I think its better than Ibex. But when I built my computer I did heavy research to make sure I had well supported hardware in Linux. So I almost never notice any problems from one...
What is that album art display in the bottom right?
Yeah, it is definitely useful, but i can see why Canonical would disable it by default. I mean the users that need it would be able to turn it back on. I think this is funny b/c there used to be a...
if it locks up to the point where you cant do ctrl-alt-f1, login and execute "sudo /etc/init.d/[g/k]dm restart", then i doubt youd be able to use ctrl-alt-bkspc

And I am a huge...
I think you are all missing the point. The Asus Eee PC was only possible because of Linux. The fact that they used Linux to create this market and then turn around and take a dump on Linux is...

I probably will buy Windows 7. I am excited for Diablo3 and Starcraft 2. Both of which I am sure will run in Wine, but I have had a chance to run the beta and just installed the RC. I think Windows 7...

I am running the 4.3 beta and I haven't been able to figure out the whole make the dashboard separate from the desktop thing. Do you think maybe you could help me out?

What color scheme, Qt Style, and Kwin Theme were you using in your previous screenshot?
The real innovation in .NET is not the vm, but the libraries that enable programmers from multiple backgrounds to work on the same project. I do love Visual Studio as an IDE, but i think .NET needs...
