    If you look closely, it uninstalls ubuntu-desktop and other key components. That's why I didn't do it.

    Agreed, I looked at xinput list-props, but I didn't see anything that seemed related to the sensitivity/speed or anything I felt confident enough to change. Maybe I'll try something though...
