    I would suggest right clicking on the speaker icon in the bar (usually top right) and see if it's muted, if so it's an easy fix, just unclick it.

    But, the speed is still reasonable.
    The volume usage is 120 gig a month, that's 60 peak 60 offpeak.

    Fair comment, but..The point I should have made here is that MS have taken an alpha product and made it worse...ie, no touch screen. It's only using camera's.
