[ubuntu] Re: nVidia GPU switching on MBPr - campaign

I'm with you. I remember there is a forum on the nvidia website, maybe this would be worth to try.

@sauferkel: How did you switch to intel? If you did not use OSX please let me know.

  10. [ubuntu] Re: I successfully installed Ubuntu Kernel 3.8.2 on X64 13.04 Nightly.

OK, the manual way. Thats what I was asking for. There is no repository where I can get the updates "automatically"!?

  12. [SOLVED] Re: Digitus DN-3023: Gigabit Ethernet USB 3.0 adapter

The ASIX drivers are runnign fine using Ubuntu 13.04. Compared to a USB 2.0 dongle I get reasonable more network performance out if (17+ MB/s instead of less about 11MB/s on my cheap home network)....
  13. [ubuntu] Re: I successfully installed Ubuntu Kernel 3.8.2 on X64 13.04 Nightly.

Do yourself a favour and bin the b43 stuff. Switch to the bcmwl drivers - much more stable and performant.

    Did you install it manually?
Why is the "official" repository not offering it?

[ubuntu] Re: ubuntu on new retina macbook : any experience ?

You should not specif both DPI and DisplaySize as they overwrite each other, I'd recommend to stick with Displaysize. This reveals 221x217 dpi for my 15" Retina.
