I've got a directory share for scans used by every family member. I want to make it so that each user can't accidentally delete any persons scans they uploaded.
Is it a create mask issue? I can't...

i've played with themes andicons in xp and it's much easier to do in linux in general as well as free. take a look at gnome-look.org and then install them in system > preferences > themes.
wine does work but not very well. hahaha. i don't think you will get the vista stuff to work. wine is kinda buggy. have you looked for linux alternatives that are freely available?
