    I would not know about surround, sorry. However games and music from vlc works fine. I'll check with internet radio:)

    EDIT: Last.fm + totem / wine game works for me.

    I had the same hard drive/fstab problems and solved them by using UUID's instead of the typical /dev/sdx references.

    Been running as main and only os since alpha2 and it's been nice to me. A few bugs of course but no dealbreakers and no crashes. I like it.

    Been using Intrepid (as only os) since alpha 2, with surprisingly few errors. As of today:

    - fstab is messing with me. Solved by using uuids.
    - Some things won't load @ startup despite them...

    Have you installed ubuntu or is this from live cd?

    The busybox is an emergency shell when ubuntu fails to load. I might be wrong but I belive that grub tries to load the linux kernel from the hard...
