I didn't know that... Are you sure? I saw some Derivatives in the Wiki that are not all that official that carry the --buntu.

But if that is a real problem I'll just change to KBOS. Or get it...

No you've got it wrong, the bug in the link has nothing to do with the issue I'm presenting here.

My Internet speed just went from 240B/s (yes, Bytes!) to just around 120 KB/s the normal speed of my connection!

I'm experiencing the same problem with a 1000he.

The fan runs with a constant speed even if keyboard and bottom of the netbook start getting hot...

Actually, just for the sake of completeness, I was with the same issue and solved using the match:

turns out that dpkg was running in background


sudo killall dpkg

solved for me

When I maximize a window in the guest Windows XP my Gnome panels in the Ubuntu host disappear.

When the window is restored they come back though...
