What are the specs. especially RAM and graphics card.
It could be a graphics issue but without more information it would just be guessing.
Not clear to me what you want to do.

Perhaps checking your fstab file might give you some clues if...

One trend I have noticed recently is people coming to the forum, asking a question, and then never coming back to see if there was an answer.
It may not be a new thing exactly but it seems more...
Are you able to use sudo without any issues, meaning for system maintenance, updates, installing or removing software?
We don't know what threads you are referring to but one thing to bear in mind...
An older computer that ran Windows 7 will almost certainly not be able to run a recent version of Ubuntu. I know this because I tested it to see what happens and the experiment failed.
Granted,...

Do not recognize the error for the backup; what software are you...
Those commands won't work in the Alt+F2 run dialog.
Open a terminal with Alt+Ctrl+T
For env you can just enter that for a list of variables.

Have you checked all your cables?
Please run the boot info script in my signature. Choose to create a summary report and then post the...
It has been some time since I played around with MX Linux but have you tried setting the screen to never blank?
What version are you using and what DE is installed?
Linux is very verbose. Those messages are perfectly normal, as mentioned above by 14nd

Hi and welcome to the forums :-)
Why are you attempting to install from a sim card?
Backups, backups, backups BEFORE making any changes to drives/partitions.
Easiest way is to use pretty much any liveUSB that has GParted installed and use it to shrink the Kubuntu partition to...
Without seeing the output from the boot info script, I would be just guessing.
However, it is possible that when Ubuntu installed it did not remove the Windows boot partition. I suppose that might...
Best thing would be to run the boot info script (see my signature).
Do not repair, but choose the option to create a summary report. It will generate a pastebin link which you can then post here....
I would suggest checking your fstab file for mount or formatting errors as a first step.
Hi and welcome to the forums :-)
You're not giving us very much information to work with.
Please try and answer these questions as best you can:
1. what version of Ubuntu is installed?
2....
What was supposed to be installed? I say supposed to be because the script shows you have no operating system installed.
What happened to get you to this point?
The more information you can...
