Alternatively, Google Chrome comes with flash.
It wouldn't be a wireless mouse? Often a nearly empty battery can cause this.
Don't bother getting preload yet, it won't help.
Is Ubuntu installed to /dev/sda5?
If it is, prepare for another reinstall. Select the 'something else' install option. Format the partition you...
I don't use AMD graphics personally, so can't confirm whether these work or not, but https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI has installation instructions for the AMD graphics driver.
How did you install your graphics driver? The sluggishness + extremely high RAM usage sounds like a graphics driver issue to me. Just checking, this is the gtx 660 and NOT the gtx 660m?
The...
Grub = the boot loader ;)
/dev/sda is where your Master Boot Record is. Perfectly safe to install grub to that.
4gbs should be enough to live without swap, but I'd still make a 4gb swap partition. If I were you, this...

Thanks :)
Is debodas taken? Otherwise I'll stick with my current name for now :)
Can't this be done under date and time settings? Usually accessible by clicking on the time in the panel, and by changing the time manually from there.
Download Gparted from the software center, then you can run it as a program from within Ubuntu.
Note - to format the Micro SD card, you will need to unmount the SD card, which you can do easily...
Personally I don't see what the problem is? Most likely your master volume is lower than is was in Windows
How about a dual SSD/HDD setup? A 128GB SSD for your / partition, and a large (1 or 2 TB HDD) for your /home partition.
Hi,
I'd like to change my name to claws - the reason being my current one can come across as arrogant (the king part), something I did not think about when making my profile.
