    I tryed madwifi it made it like 15% better, I currently have this laptop wired to the router this is making me doubt switchin my good laptop over to linux.

    No I am not dual booting but i had window 7 on here before and it ran perfect I never had problems. I haven't had any problems with wifi interfere either.
