    [ubuntu] thunderbird contacts

    i can't find a way to add contacts to the address book via right-clicking on the sender and selecting "add to contacts" like i used to do in Windows.

    what gives?

    i upgraged (from 12.04 to 12.10) this morning....
    now, no clock.

    i double checked indicator-datetime and it's up to date.

    i think i read somewhere that they removed...

    there's some message that e17 wasn't found so it's resorting to default.

    just installed e17 and a custom theme.

    like it, but i want my own wallpaper!

    in Unity, i had wallch running at startup.
    tried starting it manually, but no go, as if Enlightenment is overriding...

    i used to always have FreeBSD (or Debian) as a desktop.
    loved it.

    but now i'm disabled and can hardly type.
    excited about DesktopBSD being revived...

    why can't i get the actual menus in Thunderbird and Firefox?

    in Thunderbird i right-clicked on an open area and ticked "menu bar", and... nothing (need to open Tools).

    plugged it in........... nothing (no windows opened listing the files, etc)

    by running "mount" i can see it's there.

    i'm trying to get all the playlists i've made in WMP (.wpl) ready for a transition to Linux.

    googling tells me there's no program in linux that imports them, so i was converting them to Winamp...

    that's the thing...... i HATED PC-BSD.

    I USED TO just customize freebsd/xwindows, but i'm permanently disabled now; can't type much; need something clicky. =/
