I have an 80GB iPod Classic that Banshee did recognize before I made the move from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10, but now it will not.

The iPod is visible on my desktop, and I can mount it,...

I recently upgraded, and 9.10 runs really slow on my machine. Granted my machine is about 3-4 years old. But, 9.04 ran great on it. Is 9.10 just that much more of a RAM hog?

Thanks for the advice. For some reason it seems to have been fixed by itself. There have been updates almost daily it seems, and I did notice a couple of them had to do with gnome screensaver, etc....
