I assume you use Unity as a "windowmanager" as it is standard in Ubuntu these days... Just go ahead and start pylotro, then move your mouse ALL the way up to the end of your screen - voila :)

This turns out to be a bit of a pita... The first link in cxg gave me 9GB of file that ended up not checksumming and hence not working. The other server is so slow that I can count the bits by hand...
