    You don't need to go nuts with something like dwm, system should be fine to run openbox, fluxbox or fvwm. Try awesome if you like tiled managers.

    ps Maybe give Enlightenment a go, but I doubt it.

    Yep, I fully agree. The main reasons I look into Linux right now are superior security, usability (workspaces, gnome do, etc), speed and flexibility. It has very little to do with free or open source...

    Thanks for the tips, I removed IO Apic and enabled AMD virtualization, it works better now.

    Regarding flash, I am not sure what is wrong. But its not network related.
