    nomodeset did not solve this issue. I'll try to reinstall GRUB tonight (it won't mess up with the dual boot, I hope?).
    I used to see only one error message regarding IPBlock, but it doesn't show up...

    I've removed iptables (ipblock is the frontend), but the system still doesn't boot. The screen just goes black. How can I find out what's wrong?
