[SOLVED] Re: User image at log in

These come up for the Gnome log in screen, but you were right.

I found the .svg in /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/status/ Dunno if it is loaded from there but I'll do some experimenting.

[SOLVED] Re: User image at log in

'Contacts' and 'About Me' don't show the image, just a space to put one. I want to first amend the original existing image, but can't find it in the file system.

So, I want to customise this guy on the login screen, preferably one for each user. Can anyone tell me where it is or what it is called, and can I have a unique one for each user?

[ubuntu] Re: Support for Eizo monitors?

So, I went ahead and bought an EV2436W, and it's plug and play. No issues at all.

It is detected as an Eizo Nanao Corporation 24", at its native 1920 x 1200 resolution.

    [ubuntu] Support for Eizo monitors?

I'm considering buying from the Flexscan range. I did some research and can't find anything to suggest they are not supported, but wanted to ask anyway.

  9. [SOLVED] Re: Loading Epson NX230 Drivers into Ubuntu 10.04

You don't need the .rpm since it isn't intended for Debian based systems like Ubuntu.

[all variants] Re: Memory stick seen by XP but not Ubuntu

Try plugging it into XP, 'remove it safely', then try it in Ubuntu.

Another suggestion is reformatting it Fat32 in Ubuntu and see if that helps.

[ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu & Nvidia Compatibility Problems

The blue video is apparently a problem with Flash that Adobe will probably never fix.

  12. [ubuntu] Re: Where is the App Roaming Data folder in Ubuntu 12.04?

    There isn't one.

    [ubuntu] Re: NVIDIA update, notification?

    Yes, I did mean that.

It was my fault too, I neglected to purge before upgrading. I purged the ppa, then re-enabled it and all is now well again.
