    And that is ACER not ASUS,, names are too close..

    System locks solid anytime I've tried to access wi-fi. It's a new machine, works ok in Windows. I'm just running live USB. So far, it's happened...

    maybe check that first thing after a reboot? sometimes my output device diaspears and overdub died.

    Audacity has it's own forum. I got help with that problem there. might be worth a shot.

    Did you choose the input device? On the toolbar. You should see a drop down list of input devices. If everything is good, your breakout box should be there.

    I tried dconf /org/gnome/nautilis/preferences has no setting I can change. I do have gconf-editor(what is the difference?) and could change it there, but it had no effect.

    I've tried 2x with 2 images. MD5check is ok, and a burned Cd works.

    On trying to boot from USB I get following errors.
